Gas

Any maintenance or servicing to your gas supply and appliances should always be carried out by a competent engineer, we trained to carry out the required procedures safely and competently, we are required to attend assessments for use of LP Gas according to ACOP (Approved Code of Practice).

Electric

Any maintenance or servicing to your electrical systems should be carried out by a competent engineer, we are trained by the NCC academy.

Damp Testing

Damp Inspection is a thorough process which requires some very precise electronic equipment to measure the moisture content of your Motorhome’s walls, roof and floor. It pays close attention to areas close to openings, such as, doors, windows and skylights, and more particularly areas adjacent to outer seams and rails, as here can often provide the source for seemingly invisible water ingress. Readings are taken at very regular intervals throughout the interior bodywork providing a comprehensive written report for every customer.

Water Systems & Ventilation

We check your vehicle’s freshwater system to ensure it is leak-free and the operations of pumps, pressure switches, taps, shower and toilet are working correctly.

We thoroughly check your vehicles windows, roof lights and vents to ensure they are free from blockages or obstructions and allow free flow of fresh air.

  • Bodywork Exterior
  • Check condition and security of body panels
  • Check operation of door locks, catches and hinges – lubricate
  • Check condition and security of all trims, inserts and sealants
  • Check windows and seals for damage
  • Check condition and security of grab handles
  • Check security of body attachments (ladders, aerials, cycle racks, etc)

  • Water System and Appliances
  • Check operation and condition of water pump
  • Check operation of pressure switch and adjust if required
  • Check condition of water filter and housing – replace filter if required
  • Check operation of taps and shower fittings, inc. external taps if fitted
  • Check overall condition of fresh and waste water pipes and fittings
  • Check toilet for operation and condition of seal, blade and flush
  • Check drain plugs for seal and operation

Full Annual Service for all Caravans

Full Annual Service for all Caravans includes everything from the Motorhome Habitation Service includeing the following.

  • Chassis and Running Gear
  • Check coupling head and safety catch for wear
  • Check and clean pads on ball acting stabiliser
  • Check condition and routing of breakaway cable and clip
  • Check operation of over-run piston – lubricate
  • Check operation of jockey wheel – clean & lubricate
  • Check operation of handbrake – lubricate
  • Check brake rods, cables and supports
  • Remove wheels and check tyres for wear, damage, age and pressure
  • Remove brake drums, check bearings, seals and linings – clean & lubricate
  • Replace drum with new split pin or one shot nut – torque as required
  • Adjust brakes at drum and check free play in the linkage and at handbrake
  • Replace road wheels and torque wheel nuts/studs to manufacturers settings
  • Check condition and security of chassis and attachment to body
  • Check operation of suspension assemblies
  • Check operation of corner steadies – lubricate
  • Check operation of spare wheel carrier and folding step – lubricate
